Responsibilities include:

	Overseeing the manufacturing and packaging of pharmaceutical products, including the adherence to specified schedules, processes, procedures and GMPs.
	Managing a staff of union employees by monitoring and directing daily activities, performance and training.
	Troubleshooting technical issues and making recommendations to increase output.
	Preparing and processing required documentation in a timely manner, verifying accuracy and completeness.
	Coordinating efforts with maintenance, inventory control and quality assurance to ensure a high level of efficiency and productivity.
	Training and enforcing GMPs, safety, housekeeping and security procedures, ensuring all SOPs are current and followed.

Qualifications and key competencies include:

	5+ years of related supervisory experience in a pharmaceutical or consumer products manufacturing environment.
	Bachelor’s degree preferred.
	Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to manage and motivate employees, and the appropriate computer skills.
	Able to multi-task, expedite, prioritize and work well interdepartmentally with all levels of management.
	A pro-active self-starter who possesses exceptional problem solving skills and the flexibility to work alternate shifts.
