Basic Function and Responsibility:
Diagnose, repair and modify
manufacturing machines and auxiliary equipment including but not limited to
mechanical,
electrical, electronic (basic), hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Work Performed:
 |
Changeover of equipment in the manufacturing
department. |
 |
Intall or assist in the installation and
start up of new or existing equipment. |
 |
Perform equipment Installation Qualification
and Operation Qualification. |
 |
Read, understand and interpret drawings and schematics.
|
 |
Set up and operate machine shop equipment.
|
 |
Possibly weld, including Oxy/Acetylene,
Arc welding and TIG welding. |
 |
Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing or
packaging machines and auxiliary equipment including basic electricity. |
 |
Document work performed on equipment.
|
 |
Perform all work in a safe manner and in
accordance with cGMP's. |

Qualifications:
 |
Must be able to read, write and speak English.
|
 |
Must be able to work inside or outside of
company buildings. |
 |
Must be physically able to carry necessary tools
and equipment to complete work assignments. |
 |
Must be able to bend repeatedly and lift up to
60 lbs. |
 |
Must have knowledge and experience in the
troubleshooting, maintenance and operation of machinery and auxiliary
equipment. |
 |
Must have some basic electrical knowledge.

 |
Must be capable of working with minimum supervision.
|
 |
Must be able to burn and weld with minimum
supervision. |
 |
Must be able to work wearing any protective
clothing, equipment or respirator that may be required for the job.

Education:
 |
High school diploma (or equivalency) or
Technical school certificate. |
| |
Experience:
 |
Electrical experience required.
|
 |
Mechanical experience required.
|
 |
Machine Shop experience required.
|
 |
Sarong experience a plus.
|
 |
Over three (3) years up to and including
five (5) years experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry.
|
