Contract Manufacturing

G & W Laboratories began manufacturing pharmaceuticals in 1919 and has been providing quality products and service ever since. Specializing in suppositories, creams and ointments, we can provide a full range of services including: formulation development, analytical method research and development, analytical method validation, pilot batches, scale-up batches, process validation, cleaning validation, and commercial batch production. All work is performed in an environment conforming to FDA's current Good Manufacturing Practices. As a result, G & W has approval from FDA to manufacture products pursuant to New Drug Applications, Abbreviated New Drug Applications, and OTC drugs conforming to various FDA monographs.

A cross-functional team of professionals is specifically created for each contract manufacturing customer project. They include members of Manufacturing, Packaging, Materials, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Product Development, Process Validation, Quality Control, and Analytical Research & Method Development Departments. Experts from each of these functional areas contribute years of experience and recognize all the critical issues that must be considered when developing and launching pharmaceutical products. By employing sound project management practices and efficient communications, we assure the timely completion of contract projects. This enables our customers to bring their products to market promptly.

Our suppository manufacturing facility employs state-of-the-art form/fill/seal machines. Our semi-solid manufacturing facility employs state-of-the-art computer controlled processing and filling equipment.

G & W is extremely flexible and can structure a contract manufacturing relationship in keeping with our customers' preferences. We can work with materials supplied by our customers or provide a "turnkey" operation, in which we supply and release all materials.

Companies interested in learning more about G & W's contract manufacturing capabilities are invited to contact us to discuss how G & W Laboratories, Inc. can satisfy your project requirements.
